He sits on the managing Council of The British Occupational Hygiene Society, advises the Energy Instutute on Industrial Hygiene Issues and is a member of Oil & Gas UK’s Occupational Health Technical Committee.

He has advised globally on Industrial Hygiene matters and has written corporate guidance for several issues for organisations in the Middle East as well as conducting a compliance review of Algerian Legislation. Dr. Entisar Saber al Hendal is a Consultant Family Medicine who Graduated from Kuwait Faculty of Medicine in 2002. She also graduated from Royal College as Family Medicine Specialist (MRCGP) in 2008.

She worked in the Ministry of Health since 2002 until 2013. She is now working in KOC, Ahmadi Hospital as Head of Health Promotion Unit since 2013.

She also worked on many International Conferences before eg: KOC Occupational Conference, 1st Radiology KOC Conference.

After completing her MSc at St. George’s Hospital Medical School, Lamis Al-Kaisi worked as a Psychologist with people suffering from addiction. Through the active involvement with other members of staff working in different positions within the field, Lamis developed an active interest in the health, wellbeing and safety of her colleagues and others working in similar fields. The transition into the Occupational Health and Safety field was a natural one and in the last 12 years, Lamis has worked in different sectors and roles as a H&S practitioner developing processes and raising awareness of issues affecting employees physical, mental and social wellbeing. Currently Lamis is resident and working in the UAE, combining her professional experience as a Psychologist and Health and Safety Practitioner.

Dr. Maha is a board member of the Bahrain Health & Safety Society and a member of many national and international committees including Bahrain Health & Safety Supreme Council, the Gulf Occupational & Environmental Medical Group, Bahrain Occupational Health Association (Medical Society), Head of the Occupational Health Sub-Committee (Ministry of Labour) and a member of the Safety legal sub-Committee. She also a member of the Mother and Children Welfare Society, Maha is also is a founding Member of the Committee of Children Wishes Committee.

Dr. Maha participated and presented papers in many national and international conferences and events and wrote several Research papers including one on Risk factors of Sensor neural hearing loss in Bahrain and another one on Pattern of hearing impairment among workers assessed by Bahrain Medical Commission.

Dr. Mansoor graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, 2001. He achieved his Arab Board in Family Medicine (2007) followed by Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners UK in (2008) and Masters with distinction in Occupational Health from University of Birmingham in (2009).

Dr. Mansoor worked in the Ministry of Health (UAE) 2001-2003 and in Dubai Health Authority from 2004 to 2009. He Moved to Emirates Integrated Telecommunication Company (du) in 2010 and established two in-house staff clinics and a wellness department.

In 2012 He became the regional chair for the international association of worksite health promotion (IAWHP).

In April 2014 the wellness department at “du” won the Idea Arabia award for the employee wellness idea implemented in the company.

In December 2014 Dr. Mansoor was elected as the Vice President of the Family Medicine society at the Emirates Medical Association.

Dr. Mansoor was successfully nominated to chair the wellness task-force at Dubai Chambers. In addition he writes regularly about wellness related articles in various newspapers and magazines around the country.

Dr. Zaidi is a Senior Occupational & Environmental Medicine Consultant presently working at Johns Hopkins Aramco Health in Saudi Arabia. He is also an adjunct senior lecturer in the department of Occupational and Aviation Medicine in Otago University. He has been consulting for more than 20 years in the field of health, safety, environment and occupational hygiene. Dr. Zaidi has performed thousands of medical examination related to employment (pre-employment), fitness to work and disability assessments. He has performed more than 300 environmental & occupational health, hygiene and safety surveys, and has provided consulting services for a diverse cliental ranging from institutional establishments to the automotive industry. He provides first-hand experience in assessing the requirements of the client involving the anticipation, recognition, evaluation and control of a wide variety of chemical, physical and biological stressors.

Dr. Zaidi has practiced Occupational Medicine in Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Canada, Pakistan, USA, UAE and Qatar, during which he played an important role in advocacy, performing medical examinations, and conducting body burden evaluations involving various chemicals. He has developed and reviewed many safe work procedures, and has written health and safety compliance reports. He has performed more than 400 ergonomic evaluations and occupational risk assessments, as well as numerous heat stress surveys and indoor air quality investigations.

Dr. Muhammad WasifAlam is a USA trained physician with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH). He has also earned subspecialty in Occupational Medicine from the University of South Florida, College of Medicine, USA. He has over 25 years of experience working in the health related fields in the USA, Middle East and Bangladesh. A big portion of the work has been conducted with organizations like the Johns Hopkins University, United Nations, and Ministries of Health. His experience working with multiple health disciplines has made him a competent expert in the management and implementation of health programs. Through his knowledge and experience he has made significant contribution in the Public Health globally. He has authored chapters in various renowned books on Public Health and has published several research articles in the scientific medical journals. Dr. Alam's biggest strength is having wide range, multi-discipline education and experience in health arenas. He had been working as a Professor for over seven years at renowned Universities of USA where he taught courses on Critical Issues in Global Health besides Bioterrorism and basic sciences. Ola’s profession began as general practitioner then completed MSc. in Internal Medicine. Her leadership skills were highly acclaimed when she joined EFQM (European Foundation of Quality Management) Diploma -EFQM/ISO in 2010& working as Expert of Excellence & Strategy Development / Office of Asst. Undersecretary for Health Centers and Clinics, Ministry Of Health - Dubai. Eager to pursue a career in legislation, her continued studies gained her as Chancellor of International Arbitration. Ready to venture further afield, she was awarded the Sheikh Rashid Award for Academic Excellence.
